What is Hyperspaces?
Hyperspaces is a Mac OS X application designed to work with Apple's Spaces feature, enabling users to personalize each Space with distinct visual elements. It allows for setting custom desktop images or colors for individual Spaces, with smooth transitions when switching between them. The tool includes a Space Switcher for efficient navigation, displaying customizations clearly, and supports naming Spaces with labels that can appear in the menubar, switcher, or directly on the desktop.
Additionally, Hyperspaces offers a range of customizable hotkeys for tasks such as hiding desktop icons, switching Spaces, and managing rows and columns dynamically. It is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard" and 10.6 "Snow Leopard" but is not supported on newer versions of Mac OS X.
