What is RunScribe?
RunScribe Gait Lab is a comprehensive gait analysis platform designed for running and walking professionals, including coaches, podiatrists, physical therapists, and gait labs. The system utilizes 500Hz IMU footpods that record data on both feet at every step, offering a detailed view of gait mechanics both in laboratory settings and real-world environments.
The platform includes RunScribe Pods for data collection, a mobile app for real-time viewing and data upload, and a web dashboard with powerful visualization and analysis tools. It provides metrics across efficiency, shock, motion, and power, with left/right symmetry analysis. The system supports multiple clients through a runners portal and offers data export options for research applications, including per-step CSV and full 500Hz RawData IMU data.
