Is the Free Plan really free? Will it be free forever?

Yes, it really is free! It’s not a trial and it’s free forever. Bito’s Free Plan comes with free AI-powered PR summaries for Git, 75 AI Chat requests per day, 300 AI Code Completions per month, the ability to handle requests in many spoken and coding languages, templates, and many other features. We will continue to improve this plan, and you will never have to upgrade to a paid plan.
What data does Bito collect?

In a nutshell, Bito does not store anything about your code or use any of your data for AI model training. We do capture metadata about your AI requests, such as that you ran a request to create unit tests. We also collect information about your usage of the service, such as how many requests you made and when, and your personal data like your email address and name to allow us to manage your access to the service. How is the data in Bito shared?

Bito does not share your data with anyone outside of your organization. Your code is not stored by Bito, it is not used for AI model training, and no data is sold to anyone, including on the Free plan. Your organization does have access to your usage data of Bito, but other non-admin users in your organization do not have access to even your usage data.
Will my private code be shared with other users?

Absolutely not. None of your code data is stored by Bito and is not accessible to any other users.

Basic AI model requests” refer to AI queries processed using foundational models like GPT-4o mini and similar models, optimized for speed and efficiency.
