SKILL.md
retrospect
Load and use the installed babysit skill.
Resolve the request in retrospect mode:
- treat everything after
$retrospectas the run selector(s) to summarize - focus on the run history, outcomes, lessons, and gaps
- do not create a separate command surface here; this skill only forwards into
babysit
Phase 1: Resolve Target Run(s)
- If
--allor "all" is present in args: list all runs vials -lt .a5c/runs/and collect all completed/failed run IDs - If multiple run IDs are provided: use all of them
- Otherwise: existing behavior (resolve the latest single run)
- Use
ask_userto confirm run selection in interactive mode
Phase 2: Load Run Data
For each selected run, load:
run.jsonmetadata- Journal events
- Task definitions and results
- State snapshots
Phase 3: Analysis
Perform standard per-run analysis (outcomes, process effectiveness, suggestions).
Cross-Run Pattern Analysis (multi-run mode)
When analyzing multiple runs, additionally cover:
- Common failure modes across runs
- Velocity trends (tasks/time across runs)
- Process evolution (how processes changed over time)
- Repeated breakpoint patterns
Phase 4: Suggestions
Provide actionable suggestions for process improvements, optimizations, and fixes.
Phase 5: Implementation
If the user agrees, implement improvements to processes, skills, or configuration.
Phase 6: Cleanup Suggestion
After analysis, suggest: "Consider running babysitter cleanup (or /babysitter:cleanup) to clean up old run data and reclaim disk space."
Recommended Agent Skills
Expand your agent's capabilities with these related and highly-rated skills.
gsd-tools
Central utility skill for GSD operations. Provides config parsing, slug generation, timestamps, path operations, and orchestrates calls to other specialized skills. Acts as the unified entry point that the original gsd-tools.cjs provided via its lib/ modules (commands, config, core, init).
model-profile-resolution
Resolve model profile (quality/balanced/budget) at orchestration start and map agents to specific models. Enables cost/quality tradeoffs by selecting appropriate AI models for each agent role.
verification-suite
Plan structure validation, phase completeness checks, reference integrity verification, and artifact existence confirmation. Provides the structured verification layer ensuring GSD artifacts are well-formed and complete.
state-management
STATE.md reading, writing, and field-level updates. Provides cross-session state persistence via .planning/STATE.md with structured fields for current task, completed phases, blockers, decisions, and quick tasks.
git-integration
Git commit patterns, formats, and conventions for GSD methodology. Provides atomic commits per task, structured commit messages, planning file commits, branch management, and milestone tag operations.
frontmatter-parsing
YAML frontmatter parsing and manipulation for .planning/ documents. Provides read, write, update, query, and validation operations on frontmatter blocks in GSD markdown artifacts.
